Job Duties:  The set-up of equipment includes placing traffic control signs, and traffic cones, as well as retrieving and carrying tools and equipment such as pruner poles, chainsaws, ropes, rakes, saddles and leaf blowers. Additional equipment set up includes setting up a brush chipper on level stable ground and chocking the wheels to ensure it will not move during operation. The Ground Person duties include ground-level trimming and pruning of trees using hand or power tools or equipment. Ground Persons assist the Tree Trimmer/ Climber in removal of vegetation through the pruning of trees to smaller branches that can be reached from the ground. Maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: trimming, raking, clean up of limbs and leaves, shredding of larger tree branches, set up of equipment.
