Job Title: Snow Removal Technician.
Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers
De-icing and removal of snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots for various residential and commercial properties.
Winterizing of properties by trimming and removing brush, leaves and plant matter; planting seasonal bulbs and saplings; mulching beds; draining, installation and repairing sprinkler systems; installation and maintenance of holiday décor.
Perform highly physical activities on a consistent basis in all weather conditions, specifically very cold, icy, snowy weather. Use of vehicles and hand or power tools may be required.
May assist in routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment used each day.
Minimum Education Required: None.
Minimum Experience Required: None.
Work Hours & Days: Work Hours & Days: 40 hours per week, typically 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, this may vary from 35 to 50 hours per week, some Saturdays and/or Sundays, due to weather and workload.
Anticipated Start Date of Job Opportunity: December 1, 2021
Anticipated End Date of Job Opportunity: April 15, 2022
Other requirements: Post-employment random drug testing and background checks may be required, at no cost to the worker. The job requires the applicant to be qualified, ready, willing, able, and available to perform during the entire employment at all the designated worksites; and to follow workplace rules.

Multiple Cities and Towns in New Britain City, including the cities and towns of Southington, Berlin, East Hartford, Rocky Hill, Portland, Bristol, Hartford City, Plainville, Newington, Middletown City, Wethersfield and West Hartford in Connecticut.
FIVE: Wage that the employer is offering:
$18.95 hour / $28.42 hour overtime
