Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions into agricultural equipment. Fill tanks with water, chemicals, and fertilizer according to formulas and take the tanks to the farm sites. Operate machines such as agricultural sprayers or fertilizer spreaders to fertilize and spray crops. Apply crop nutrient or crop protection products to control insects, fungus, weed growth, and diseases, to assist in the cultivation of agricultural commodities using agricultural equipment. Spread dry fertilizer using GPS-enabled agricultural equipment. Manipulate controls, nozzles, hoses, and tubes to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery to direct product over designated areas. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.

Months of Experience Required:  3
Special Requirements:  Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers’ expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
Number of Hours Per Week:  40
Work Schedule (Start/End time):  8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
