Open Range Livestock Herder By May 1st each year, Fall lambs/kids have been weaned, the Ewes & Does combined back into larger herds and Feeder herds from the weaned lambs and kids have now been created for herd management and also to provide for the nutritional needs of the growing offspring. Ewe & Goat pairs have been combined into larger herds and moved onto Spring and Summer range.
