Grass Works was founded in 2007  by Ferris MyCue.  He felt the Austin area needed a local, dependable lawn care service business that provided professional, high quality, and consistent levels of service. On his days off as a firefighter, Ferris worked long and hard hours to maintain his clients yards and build a business based on the quality of work and fair prices. Shortly after, Ferris added 3 crew leaders that oversee the work and provide lawn recommendations to each property.

Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.
