About the Company
It began with a vision in the high Andes of my homeland, Peru; one that became the symbol and label of my company. The passion of my life has taken me on an amazing journey.
In the landscape of the Peruvian Andes, at 12,000 feet above sea level, one thousand years ago, the Incas (my ancestors) domesticated the Alpaca. The animal’s wool became a source of fantastic, fine fiber. Its luxurious threads were mixed with gold and silver, which was the fiber of royalty. Alpaca International is proud to introduce
