Prepare soil and growth media for nursery stock to include but not limited to trees, shrubs, groundcovers, annuals, perennials etc. on acreage, in nursery, greenhouses, fields, and sheds. Fill pots, seed, water, fertilize, and transplant for all nursery stock. Space plants/produce and containers on carts, trucks. Water, trim, and prune all plants as needed. Plant, water, fertilize, dig, rake, mow and trim on acreage, in nursery, greenhouses, and fields. Move all plant material from multiple locations. Workers may install product within 50-mile radius of the nursery. Install/maintain irrigation system on acreage, in nursery, greenhouses, fields, and sheds. Clean work areas and store materials. Apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and other crop protectants. 1 hour lunch break offered

Experience Required: Yes
Months of Experience Required: 3
Special Requirements: Employment reference. This job requires a minimum of 3 months of verifiable work experience in a greenhouse, nursery, landscaping operation and/or on a farm handling both mechanized and manual tasks.
Number of Hours Per Week: 40
Work Schedule (Start/End time): 7:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
