Housekeepers will be responsible for cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors and stairways. Clean rugs, carpets, furniture and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Make beds. Empty waste baskets, empty/clear ashtrays and trash disposal. Dust, sweep, scrub, wax and polish furniture, equipment, ornaments and fixtures. Replenish and stock storage areas. Perform laundry duties, including operating washers and dryers to wash and fold linens and towels. Clean and sanitize restaurant and kitchen area. Clear tables and do dishes. Housekeepers may need to lift up to fifty (50) pounds and have tolerance of cold weather. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 8:00am to 3:00pm, 11:00am to 6:00pm, or 10:00am to 5:00pm. Shift hours may vary. Special Requirements: The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club.
