Sheep / Goat Handlers

Duties may include: Feeding animals grain and hay, checking water tanks and fences – performing maintenance and repairs where necessary. Make feed using wheat, hay, and grain harvested on the farm for the animals. Caring for wheat, hay, and grain crops as necessary in the form of general field maintenance, irrigating, and cultivating/clearing soil. Sorting sheep and goats to and from corrals and pastures to assist with shearing, tagging, vaccinating, de-worming, loading/unloading trailers, potential driving of feed trucks, tractors, ATV’s, and skid steers & other related Sheep/Goat Handlers activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.
