Job Duties: The Production Line Operator is responsible for using hand tools to perform cutting and trimming of pork products. The specific responsibilities include: (1) Proper, safe handling and carrying of knives, including keeping knife sharp, concentration on tasks when using knives, and maintaining proper work-place spacing; (2) Follow all GMP, Food Safety/Quality and Safety rules; (3) Understand proper cuts of pork for customer specifications and yields; (4) perform safe handling and disposal of meat products; (5) Communicate any known deficiencies or issues with the product or process; and (6) Always wear required personal protective equipment when performing job.

Special Requirements: 1. Ability to understand proper meat cuts and weights; (2) Ability to understand food safety practices. At least 35hrs/wk, Mon-Fri 6:30AM to 5:00PM. Saturdays as determined. Overtime is available as needed, $24.00/hour for any hours worked over 40/week.
