Maintenance Workers will be responsible for painting, general plumbing such as clearing drains, toilet clogs, and fixing showerheads, resetting TVs and AC thermostats, and performing general repairs in hotel rooms and existing building. Assist in maintaining grounds of the hotel such as painting lounge chairs, painting curbs, changing broken sprinkler heads, pressure washing sidewalks, and maintaining outdoor lighting. The maintenance technician will also be required to perform annual, quarterly, and monthly preventative maintenance activities. Must be detailed orientated and able to work independently. All Forbes service standards will be followed and upheld at all times. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00AM – 2:00PM; 9:00AM – 5:00PM, 4:00PM – 12:00AM; Shift hours may vary. Job Requirements
Experience Required: Yes
Months of Experience Required: 6
Special Requirements: The Petitioner will consider for employment any applicant who possesses at least six (6) months of experience in a construction or maintenance field; preferred experience in plumbing, painting, electricity, or carpentry at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employers expense.
Number of Hours Per Week: 40
Work Schedule (Start/End time): 6:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.
