Full Time:  Yes
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Maintain heated watering system. Operate snow removal equipment in order to operate feed wagons. Operate manure truck. Operate feed truck, feed wagon, loader tractor, pay-loader, skid steer, and box scrapper. Gathering, processing, and distributing the feed for the cattle. Mix feed and additives, fill feed troughs with feed and water for livestock; remove ice formed in water. Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries. Vaccinate animals by placing vaccine in drinking water or feed using syringes and hypodermic needles. Apply medications to cuts and bruises, spray livestock with insecticide. Processing calves as they come into the feed lot. Keep feeding area free of debris and manure. Reading ration sheets. Knowledge of loading and unloading cattle from semi-trailers. Clean livestock stalls and sheds using disinfectant solutions, brushes and shovels. Maintain buildings. Maintain breeding, feeding and cost records. Crops: Beef Cattle Equipment: Pick-up truck, John Deer Tractors , tandem axel truck

Months of Experience Required:  3
Special Requirements:  Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
Number of Hours Per Week:  48
Work Schedule (Start/End time):  8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
