Install plants, trees, grasses by digging holes with hand tools. Lay sod. Lay mulch and pinestraw by hand. Dig trenches for irrigation with a shovel. Install irrigation systems. Irrigation trenches are 6”x6”. Trenches are dug in order to lay pipe for irrigation systems. Shovels are used to dig trenches. Level dirt with shovel. Install retaining walls by using manufactured concrete landscape decorative blocks weighing 13-50 pounds, depending on the style of block used as the material for walls. Use wheelbarrows to carry the blocks, shovels to add base gravel, and their hands to stack the blocks 2-4’ in height. May lift and place or replace the block in wall as necessary. Most of these activities will be done by using shovels and rakes.
