- Job Duties: Prepare, season, and cook dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, or desserts. Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. Ability to understand, execute and complete a daily prep list. Prepare ingredients to use in cooking i.e. chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, starch cookery. Cook food in various techniques, producing best outcomes. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served. Keep a sanitized and orderly workstation in the kitchen. Ensure all food and other items are stored and rotated properly. Check quality of ingredients. Monitor mise en place and communicate needed product to your Chef. Anticipated days and hours of work per week: Minimum of 35 hours per week (meaning no less than). Open seven days. Work hours of operation are 24 hours per day. Shift hours per week: 5:00am-1:00pm, 6:00am -2:00pm, 7:00am-3:00pm, 8:00am-4:00pm, 9:00am-5:00pm, 10:00am-6:00pm, 1:00pm-9:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, 4:00pm-12:00am, 10:00pm-6:00am.
