About the Company

Todd’s produce was est. in 1988 owners being Hal & Dordie Hayes. We are proud of our Peaches and Homemade ice cream!

Hal and Dordie Hayes took an unconventional path to begin their farming journey. In the beginning they had no experience at all, so every decision, good or bad, was a lesson learned. In 1988,they opened a produce stand in Clanton, Alabama, located off exit 205, on I-65, named after their only son Todd. Naturally that boy would grow up helping his dad harvest the peaches for which the Hayes have become known.

Later on, they added blueberries and blackberries to the operation, which spans more than 100 acres. Today father and son still work the peach orchards together.

Todd’s Produce and Gifts is run by Dordie and Todd’s wife, Tasha. The produce stand features a variety of produce, jams, jellies, homemade ice-cream, and homemade novelty gifts. While the Hayes have always sold wholesale, the popularity of farmers’ markets has allowed them to expose their business to more people throughout the south.
