“The Whale,” as locals fondly call it, has been locally owned and operated since the doors opened in 1988. A lively, friendly blend of visitors and locals, it is kid friendly by day and a hot spot for fun at night.

We serve generous portions, fresh local seafood, our signature fried pickles (try them!), and the best lobster rolls and chowder in town. Our delicious food is only part of the reason for our success. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and when you walk into the Thirsty Whale you will feel at right at home
