Reeves Family Produce is owned by Chris Reeves from Houston, MS. We currently farm approximately 1000 acres of sweet potatoes, and are continuously growing. In order to maintain quality soil, we rotate our main crop with about 1300 acres of soybeans and corn. We also buy approximately 500 acres of sweet potatoes harvested by local farms in our area. We have a brand new 29,000 square foot packing facility that houses our electronic Hagan sizer. Thanks to this technology, we have limitless sizing options to accommodate our customers. Our 5,000 square foot climate controlled storage room for packaged product has 3 easily accessible loading docks. We have a 75,000 bushel capacity curing room that allows us to package and ship our sweet potatoes as early as 10 days postharvest. Our other 250,000 bushel capacity storage facility is able to keep our produce at an optimum temperature and humidity until we receive an order. Our farm is Global GAP certified and we work hard to ensure fast and easy traceability.
