Workers will be working in Cotton, peanuts, tobacco and pecans. Manual plant, hoe, weed, irrigate, clean spray, load/unload grain bins & trucks; till soil & apply fertilizers; transplant, weed, thin, prune, cultivate, harvest field crops; apply pesticides; clean, packer & load harvested products, post-harvest clean-up, may construct trellises, repair fences & farm bldgs., & other related activities. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, prune hooks, shears, knives; operate farm equip as determined by employer/supervisor if applicable. Workers may lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Transportation/subsistence reimbursed for costs incurred for reporting to worksite, if worker completes half the employment period. Housing will be available at no cost to the workers, including U.S. workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of the day. 2day training starting with the first day. Three months of verifiable farm-work experience required. Tools are provided by employer at no cost. Must show proof of legal authority to work in USA. Must be 18 years old.
